Hotter N' Hell Hundred

Stella, Stanley, Kevin and Danny went to Wichita Falls, Texas, for the Hotter N' Hell Hundred, a 100 mile bike race. Danny competed and finished, short on sodium but he finished!!!!! There were about 11200 riders (which did not include Kevin). We stayed at the lovely Wichita Falls RV Park. It was hot. There was a cat on a leash. Birthday (Justin's) Imbibing in Stella

In what is becoming a potentially-concerning tradition, we (once again) fired up Stella for the purpose of having a home in the driveway at Happy Tails within which to drink. At Noon.

Friends stopped by. A good time was had by all.

Withrow Springs State Park

Chester and I went to Withrow Springs State Park, a very nice little place without much to do. We wanted to "check out" Stella on another overnight trip, and work with Chester with other dogs.

We had a good time. We spent about 99% of out time hunkered down in Stella with the air conditioner running. It performed well. We stayed Saturday night. It got up to 100 degrees or so. Normal people were not camping.

Camera was not working so there are no pictures.

We hiked the War Eagle Creek Trail and the Forest Trail, both of which were nice little hikes.

Chester saw no dogs so our plans for training failed.

Stanley arrives!!!

We finally acquire Stanley. Stella now has wheels.

We initiate Stella at Natural Falls State Park

We took Stella to Natural Falls State Park, just west of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, for her initial outing. Pine, Jill and Pretty Little Margot came to visit. Margot tried to eat a filet mignon "burger style". She is a funny little girl.


Chester tried to kill another dog, and we were visited by the Campground Host as a result of his attempted murder.











Stella performed as planned.

The stock car races across the highway start at 7:00 p.m. and run to around 10:00 p.m. They are noisy stock cars.

Pretty place. We won't be back.

Stella Arrives!

We acquired a Surveyor 192-T on April 25, 2008. Within a day or two of "her" arrival, our friend Tracy decided the "perfect" name for "her" was "Stella". We agree.

This blog will follow Stella's travels.
